For the recreations, I offer the Labrador duck, Pink-Headed duck, Coues’ Gadwall, Mariana Mallard, and the Auckland Islands Merganser. Each is done with legal to sell domestic waterfowl, and if a “wild” type is used, the appropriate paper work will be included for each species used to create your mount.

Each have been extensively researched and the mounts are done to every precise detail. The purpose of the recreations is to give museums and serious collectors the opportunity to have something that no one else will.

With all the species that have gone extinct, very few actual mounts still exist today and the vast majority of those belong to museums, making owning one of these a thing of dreams.
The problem with many of these species is that they all are directed to the larger museums, and if you don’t live in those areas, you would never have a chance to view and learn about them. That is why I started making these, to give smaller museums across the world a chance to display these species, giving everyone a chance to enjoy them.

The prices for these recreations are based on expenses spent (such as how much it takes to make them), and the difficulty to do so, but even with all the extra work, many are just slightly higher than what you would pay to get a typical duck mounted. Please click on the links for each species in which you might be interested to view pictures of the mounts, along with a brief biography.
